This Month's Agronomy Notes:
Farm Service Company will be offering a new technology fertilizer this next year and beyond.  We have been handling this product for the last three years but will be handling MESZ as our primary Phosphorous source.  Why MESZ?

12-40-0-10S-1ZN

The “P” is encapsulated with Zinc and Sulfur to protect it from being tied up in high pH soils. With Zinc and Sulfur on every prill it makes for better field distribution.

The “S” sulfur comes in two forms: ½ Ammoniated (early season uptake) and ½ Elemental (late season uptake).

Most importantly: When “P” is placed in the soil and is surrounded by S to acidify the zone it increases P uptake by 30%.

Try MESZ in a band by applying it as a starter or with our Dual Placement service.  Standing around and watching the corn grow may actually be entertainment.

REMINDER:
Need a new toolbar for NH3 or liquid fertilizer applicator?  Farm Service Company and Brokaw Supply Company are offering a ZERO% three-year financing program for interested growers.  Call James @ 402-306-3692 or your local branch office for more details.

We have had many growers take advantage of this program and it is still a good time to place orders before the spring rush.
